Why Product Coaching?

Bringing the right product to market, at the right time, at the right cost is challenging and the heart and soul of what product management is about.  It is a role that requires integration of diverse functions into a coherent plan.  Yet practicing product management can’t be done just from reading books and blogs.  It is a game that needs to be played.  It requires both hard and soft skills.  And like all athletes that wish to become great, coaching can play an integral role.

Why Me?

I’ve been the only product manager at an early stage startup and I have led multi-national development teams of over 1000 people at a public company.  I’ve been a founder and CEO. And everything in between.

I’ve done Consumer Products.  Digital Health. Web. Mobile. Social. Desktop software. Print on demand systems. Hardware. Small business applications.  Fitness.  P2P file applications.

I’ve built teams from the ground up.  Scaled product orgs and hired countless product managers.  And gone through painful organizational changes and layoffs.

I’m a product manager’s product manager.  While I’ve never had your job, I’ve been in your shoes.  I know the fundamentals of what it takes and the complexities of a multidisciplinary development teams.  While I’ll never tell you the solution to your challenges, I have the experience and context to ask the right questions to get you to next level results.
